Zach Bohny is a visual artist based in Fresno, California. His paintings and collages find a place in a long line of abstract art that seeks to capture the evocative forms that underlie natural appearance and memory. Bohny received his MFA from San Jose State University in 2017. He is the recipient of the Katherine Brie Romero Memorial Art Scholarship, nominee for the Dedalus Foundation MFA Fellowship in Painting & Sculpture, and two-time recipient of theIna Gregg Thomas Memorial Art Scholarship.Bohny’s work is collected nationally and internationally, and has numerous publications including Studio Visit Magazineand New American Paintings. Bohny currently teaches art at Reedley College and California State University, Fresno.
